Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our HCS (Home and Community Based Services Team). The idea candidate will have a passion to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health, and behavior diagnosis.
Responsibilities:
· Provided nursing services to individuals in home and office settings.
· Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments
· Conduct evaluations of individuals and carry out prescribed treatments.
· Provide training to direct care employees which include but not limited to Medication training, medication delegation, in-servicing direct care employee on medication and treatments prescribed.
· Participate in Team meetings.
· Available for on-call
Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in nursing
· Valid Texas RN license
· Minimum of 1 year experience working in healthcare setting or with individual with challenging diagnosis. If no experience must be open to participating in training.
Job Types: Contract / Part-time
· Pay: $40.00 - $45.00
· Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week – Flexible schedule –
Monday – Friday – Weekends as needed and or preferred – on-call.
